Puppies in Dubai dressed up in Halloween costumes is one of the most adorable sites one would even see. The beginning of the fall season is celebrated around Dubai and the rest of the world by dressing up in costumes, decorating with jack-o-lanterns, and giving out candy to the neighbors in the true spirit of Halloween. So when celebrating this colorful and scary day, there are a few things to keep in mind about your pet so that your pet is healthy, happy and safe as the day can turn out to be tiring, confusing and over stimulating.

• Kiddies treats are a big no for pets. One of the most important things to remember is kiddies treats are toxic and harmful for pets. Chocolates and sweets that include raisins are a big NO for your pet dog as chocolates can cause indigestion and raisins can cause kidney problems.

• Candy wrappers are dangerous for your pet - Dogs can't remove wrappers off the candy they simply eat them whole with the wrapping. The wrapping which is made of foil and plastic can cause serious bowel obstruction, which sometimes needs surgery to correct. This was the case of a recent incident that involved two Golden Retrievers in Dubai who swallowed candy wrapping during a children's birthday party. So make sure to discard the wrapping and keep the trash bin closed and inaccessible by the pet.

• Keep Calm and have a scary time - With many kids enjoying the holiday, adults too tend to get into the mood and invite party guests over. This can be very disturbing for your pet, seeing people dressed in spooky outfits. So take some precautions to calm your pet with soothers and essences before the guests arrive so that you can have an enjoyable evening and your pet is calm enough to handle the chaos of children and adults.

• Meet the children going 'trick or treat' in the lobby. Prevent the chaos from entering the home, so if you live in an apartment complex or in a home in Dubai make sure to have the children wait in the lobby while you bring them treats. Keeping your pet away from it can limit anxiety levels and make it looks as if nothing out of the ordinary is happening.

• Coostumes that are comfortable and safe. Pets are part of the family too, so naturally you will want to dress your two Beagles in Dubai in matching outfits like the children. But if the pet dislikes the costume don't force them to wear it. Sometime pet's are not very happy to dress up. If the pet likes to dress in costumes, make sure the outfit is simple, safe and comfortable.
